The Mediterranean Maritime Research and Training Centre Coop.  (MMRTC) is a Training Institution founded in 2011 by the Malta Maritime Pilots with the primary objective to train Marine Pilots and conduct risk assessments for local and foreign ports.  MMRTC focuses on maritime training and research, particularly in the field of pilotage training. The organisation offers training for pilots and seafarers, including simulations and on the job training.

Antwerp Maritime Academy (AMA) - BE

The Antwerp Maritime Academy is the only college in Belgium offering training in Nautical Sciences and Marine Engineering. Courses are taught in Dutch and French. There are 38% foreign (non-Belgian) students with 22 different nationalities. The Antwerp Maritime Academy is a member of the “Association of Antwerp University and Colleges” (AUHA) which carries out education and research into a broad range of topics including the Maritime Industry.
