  • Guidelines: This workpackage on the theme of marine pollution offers both the learner and the teacher multiple opportunities to enhance communicative skills through task-based learning. Maritime English activities including compiling a glossary, dictation, reading comprehension, note-taking, giving a presentation, producing a report and designing a poster provide the learner and teacher with an entertaining range of materials. Some of the tasks in the latter part of the workpackage are also suited to students at management level.
